What Is The Shelf Life Of Your Product?

Our ingredients are all natural and no artificial preservatives are added. We recommend that our products are used within 18 months of purchase and 12 months after they are opened. All of our products are handmade at least once a week so we will NEVER sell you outdated products. We are not responsible for a product that has expired after the customer receives it and chooses not to use it within the recommended time frame; we highly recommend you follow the “best by” instructions.

 

Help! My Deodorant Stick Won't Push Up.

 

No worries. Just put the deodorant stick on it's side on a hard surface and roll like a rolling pin between you palm and the surface applying medium pressure. This should release the wax from the sides of the tubes and you should then be able to freely push it up.

My Product Melted, What Should I Do?

Natural deodorant is temperature sensitive. Please do NOT leave your product somewhere it gets hot or your product will melt. If your product does melt, just stir and put into a refrigerator or cool space until it hardens again. The melted product will still work the same once hard again. 

What Is Pit Detox?

Pit detox is a natural reaction that your body will have when switching from synthetic deodorants/antiperspirants to all-natural alternatives. Deodorants with aluminum clog the pores and stop you from sweating. When you use an all-natural deodorant, your body will start to get rid of that aluminum and unclog your pores naturally. The bacteria that occurs under your armpit naturally will have a smell. This is normal and healthy, and your body will take about 1-2 weeks to balance your natural bacteria with the all-natural products. We utilize bentonite clay in our natural deodorants which is added to help speed up the pit detoxing period. Please ensure when you shower/bathe, you clean underneath your armpits and scrub really well. This will help get rid of the old bacteria and help create a healthy environment each day.

I Have Sensitive Skin, What Should I Do?

Our products are all natural with no synthetic or artificial ingredients in it. Everybody reacts differently to different products. We cannot guarantee that you will not be sensitive to our product. Please do not apply the product directly after shaving or on broken skin as this can cause sensitivity or rashes. Pit detox is normal when changing to all natural products, however we do not recommend you ignore a rash or burning sensation. If you have a severe rash or irritation please consult a physician.

Why Am I Still Sweating?

Our products are deodorants and not anti-perspirants. Most people attribute sweating negatively but It is actually a good thing. It is healthy to sweat, and it is actually the way your body releases toxins. Anti-perspirants use aluminum which clogs the pores and helps you to not sweat from that area of your body. However, scientists believe that aluminum has been linked to breast cancer, according to the National Cancer Institute. A link below will help explain aluminum and breast cancer risk better.

Returns and Exchanges

We regret to say that at this time we cannot offer exchanges. We do however, offer a full refund if you are not satisfied with your purchase within the first 15 days of receiving. 75% or more of the product must still exist. You/the customer will be responsible for paying for shipping and handling to ship the product back. After we receive the product, we will issue a full refund to the method of payment with which you purchased the product.  We also cannot cancel an order once it has been placed on our website so please choose carefully. Shipping Information

When Will I Receive My Order?

Generally our packages arrive within 3-5 business days after being shipped. However, please give it 5-7 business days to receive your order.  You will receive a tracking number and shipping information email as soon as your order ships. 

If your package has not arrived after two weeks from your ship date, please email us at shopholypits@gmail.com so we can resolve the issue. 

All of our orders are shipped as they are received; We cannot hold orders or delay shipment once you have place an order.

Shipping Costs

Shipping rates all depend on where it is being sent to and how many items you order. 

How Long Until My Order Ships?

We handcraft small batches daily. Orders from us should take around 1-3 buisiness days before it is marked shipped and on its way! 

If there is no tracking information, please wait 48 hours for USPS to update their system. If it still has no updated, it may be that USPS neglected to scan the package upon pick up. Please wait and the tracking information will be updated once it is scanned. 

Please select Standard Ground Delivery for P.O. box deliveries.

We are not responsible for any damage in transit once the package has left our facility.

Business day refers to Monday-Friday and does not apply to National Holidays.

Free shipping on create your own 4 pack applies only to shipping within the U.S. and only applies to Standard Ground Delivery. Any other shipping method will incur fees and is not included in this special promotion.

Shipping applies to only one address. If you wish to ship to multiple addresses, you must do separate orders.
